Amazon is now selling books via the iPhone. This is probably one of the smartest business decisions for Amazon in 2009. It widens its market to over 17 million iPhones that are in circulation. In todays economy the Kindle reader sticker price of $359 is leaning towards a hard sell. Now that the application is available for free on the iphone, electronic book sales should be on the upswing. You cannot order books directly from the iphone but if you have an Amazon account the books will populate automatically and without wires! Don't worry you will never loose what page you are on either. The ease of finding just the right title couldn't be easier and most book titles are for about $9.99 This is GREAT technology.
